Assalamualaikum and salam sejahtera
Dear reader/friend/visitor..
We are celebrating Eid Al-Fitr tomorrow. This day culminates a month of fasting wherein the faithful spent their time praying and beseeching God for forgiveness and mercy. Hence, we are gathered to mark the occasion of this auspicious and joyous day of Eid – ul-Fitri. And I just wanted to say SALAM AIDILFITRI to everyone with the spirit of peace, unity, understanding and good will. I pray that this year will bring about some positive points of light in many ways, and with that, we can collectively agree to disagree without resorting to acts of violence and that cooler heads can prevail with the art of debate and agreement working as it should. We have so many things to work on. Which ones do we start on? The answer is to look in your own yard and honestly assess what you can do and what you cannot.
The things you can accomplish- do them, and the things you cannot, say so and work together to make progress on heavier tasks. . I hope that more people choose the first two and less of the latter. If one chooses to do nothing, then truly stay out of the way and do not criticize and impede the works of those who choose to make positive changes for the collective good.
As for myself, I am just an ordinary man who chooses to lead and follow, as necessary. I know my actions alone will not amount to earth-shaking changes, but I can work with you and together we can be giants. That is all I can do. I can also dream of a better world and work with you to help get us to that place.
However, I would like to seek a thousand of apologies to all of you. If I’d mistakenly using harsh word or did purposely bleed your heart with my action, I feel sorry and I beg your apologize. Indeed, perfection is not entirely belongs to me, it is belonging to Allah SWT. If there are mistakes and I’d not hold on my word, again, please forgive me.
I pray to Allah SWT to make this day of Eid Mubarak a good day for all of us and for all Muslims in Malaysia and all over the world. And we ask Allah SWT to help us fulfill our duties, and to accept our righteous deeds. We ask Allah SWT to forgive our faults and mistakes, and we beg Him to keep us on the straight path. We ask Him to give us the strength to be good examples of Muslim just like the Prophet Muhammad SAW and his companions. Wishing all muslim people an Eid filled with sweet moments and happy memories to cherish always!
May Allah SWT bring this day every year while you are in good health and strong iman. Peace, mercy, and blessings from Allah SWT upon you all. Amin.. Salam lebaran.
p.s : Oh yes, don’t forget to PUASA ENAM!
مَنْ صَامَ رَمَضَانَ ثُمَّ أَتْبَعَهُ سِتًّا مِنْ شَوَّالٍ كَانَ كَصِيَامِ الدَّهْرِ
“Barang siapa yang berpuasa Ramadhan kemudian berpuasa enam hari di bulan Syawal, maka dia berpuasa seperti setahun penuh.”
(Hadis Riwayat Muslim)
